Eye Candy part who knows

Figured I would share some more Honda eye candy today, I know the blog has been slow at that is due to the track car being put together right now. After the car is back together there should be more posts and also due to getting my personal computer up and running again. Anyway enjoy this installment.

Promised Content

So I promised a post. I am a little late on it and views show people have been checking in to see whats going up. Due to an accident on I75 today my plans to shoot parts got ruined but there is always tomorrow. So tonight I am going to share some cars.

So we start off with my car a few years back. I know most of you are like whats up with the camo. Well the paint was shot and for some reason a late night hang out in the garage birthed this paint job. I know its not popular or cool but I just wanted to do something different. The car just had suspension on it and at this point might have had the Z6 swap in it. At that point it was also daily driven. I really enjoyed the car when it was at that point. Obviously it wasn’t where I wanted it to be but it was fun none the less.

Everyone has seen this car at one time or another. However I feel that alot of people looked to this car as an icon of its time. Being that it is function over form it to me is still in style. I always liked this car and enjoy seeing pictures of it. I think it was featured in one magazine or another, if anyone could tell me which I would love to read the article.

Here is a very well known group of cars. They were all part of the Hasback crew at one point. The cars were always clean and well built. They were also considered top cars in the hobby at one time or another. I always thought Hasback’s car deserved a feature, maybe it got one but I dont know.

Its nice to see a clean EG with function as its focus. Some might disagree but I also think sticking with the single cam is cool. One day I want to build a high compression single cam with a Bisimoto header. Im also looking to run one on the track car next year. Building on a budget sometimes sucks.

Gotta admit it is nice seeing a woman owned and built car. There are just not enough woman like my wife or Meg over at CARSXGIRL that are willing to get dirty and work on a car and enjoy driving them hard. Im sure however like anyone she had help with the build, and that goes for everyone. You all have to admit at one time or another someone helped with your build.

N-S-X three letters that changed Honda and the hobby forever. Any Honda enthusiast dreams of the day when they can own or drive one.

Ryan Der’s engine bay. I know I posted it before but its hands down one of the nicest out there. The car’s exterior is just as nice, and best of all it gets used at the track.

Chad’s car, better known to the internet world as What. He is in Japan so lets hope everything is good for him. You also might know him as metrichotrods, make sure to check out his site and youtube videos.

Flat out cool, factory itb’s. though not as fast as it can be made to be. It is RR meaning rear engine rear wheels drive. I know I would take one, who else?

One word: Insane.

You have seen this car in Honda Tuning. It was built by the owner of  West End.  The shop is ran by one man and from word spread around the guy is amazing at what he does.

Being a fan of the EF chasis I love this car. All business.

I leave you with this absolutely amazing EK hatch. Saw the car in the civic thread on www.nwp4life.com and knew right away I had to share it.

Thats all for tonight. I hope to have time to shoot some parts tomorrow for an update on the track car.

New pics

So after cruising the interwebs the past few days i have found some really top end cars for viewing pleasure. Incluiding an NSX that ran sub one minute lap times at Tskuba on street tires and is ITB’d and makes less than 400hp which is pretty impressive. My only complaint is the bolt in cage but safety equipment is alot more relaxed in Japan, you can view a full feature at www.speedhunters.com.

On to the pics.

This next pic is from when this car was being put together, I got to see it at the fall Import Alliance 2010 and the build quality is top nothch, and its always nice seeing quality Top1 USA aero products and an H22 in the bay.

Next is pics of the Sportcar Motion EG time attack car, thing is crazy and I hope to see it at Eibach.

That S2K is by far my favorite S2k I have ever seen.

Up next is what I think is the craziest and cleanest engine bay ever done, it belongs to Big Mike who if I am correct won first place Honda at Wekfest III. You will probably never see one of my engine bays look like this but I do respect all of the time and effort that went in to it, also the fact that Rywire was part of the wiring and build is even more bonus points in my book, Rywire was doing harnesses long before ChaseBays and Ryan is one super cool dude that you can drink a beer and talk even if you never meet him.
